The Battlefield is open seven days a week from:

9:00 AM to 6:00 PM in Summer and
10:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Winter.

In adddition the Battlefield is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day.
Tradition Cradleboard design of roses protected the child from evil spirits.  

Did You Know?
A Nez Perce cradleboard, or tee-kas, kept the baby safe and snug until he or she was ready to walk. Nez Perce parents believed that cradleboards gave children straight backs and legs and strong spirits. One-third of the Nez Perce involved in the 1877 War where young children.
