Be A Junior Ranger
Big Hole National Battlefield has a Junior Ranger program that asks questions about objects and signage in the Museum. Successful completion of the questionaire is rewarded by the presentation of a Big Hole Junior Ranger Badge. There is no cost to participate.
Did You Know?
Trails at Bear Paw Battlefield display metal stakes that mark important tipi, shelter pit, and rifle pit sites. These sites from the battle were designated by Nez Perce warriors who fought in 1877 and returned over 50 years later to preserve their history.
