Open 7 days per week 8:00 AM- 6:00PM

From early May 24, 2014 until Labor Day, the visitor center will be open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday-Sunday.

The visitor center will be closed on the following federal holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day.

Prior to the completion of Yellowtail Dam, the Bighorn River was a muddy, warm water prairie stream.
