On Saturday, September 11, 2010 meet Ranger Jim Staebler at 11:00AM at the Crooked Creek Contact Station, across from the Horseshoe Bend turn off, for the Last Best Hike.

Ranger Staebler will guide hikers to one of the most spectacular, least visited views of Bighorn Canyon. As far as we can determine there has never been a NPS conducted activity to this location.

Park Ranger Jim Staebler will lead this off trail hike to the canyon rim which will include a leisurely lunch (bring your own) with a views seldom seen by most visitors. Anything about Bighorn Canyon is fair game for our conversations along the trail.

This is a Special Secret Place, yet it is in plain sight. Come join us and find out where it is.
