Bighorn Canyon NRA Lovell Visitor Center Operating Hours

Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area’s (NRA) Cal S. Taggart Visitor Center located in Lovell, WY will be open 8:30 a.m. till 4:30 p.m. starting Sunday, August 14, 2011.The Visitor Center will operate these hours through the spring.Presently, the visitor center will remain open seven days a week, but will likely begin operating five days a week starting mid November.  The park grounds are open 7days a week.

Park films along with exhibits are available at the visitor center which is staffed by a ranger to help answer questions concerning the park and current park conditions.Daily park passes may be purchased for $5; Annual Bighorn Canyon NRA passes may be purchased for $30.Annual Federal Recreation, Senior, and Access passes are also available at the Cal S. Taggart Visitor Center.  

The Western National Parks Association bookstore is located in the park visitor center and offers a large variety of books, CD, maps, and educational materials for purchase.Through the month of August items related to Cowboys and Cowboy Life are 15% off.
