August Ranger Programs at Bighorn Canyon

Rangers at Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area have a variety of campground programs planned for the month of August. There is a program for everyone this month. Times vary depending on the type of program. Please mark your calendars for these August programs:

August 1         Animal Adaptations, Horseshoe Bend Campground loop B Amphitheater, Ranger                       Staebler, 7:30 pm

August 7         Bighorn Lake and Sailor Sam, Horseshoe Bend Campground Loop B Amphitheater, Ranger Staebler, 9 pm

August 8         Journey through Bighorn Canyon and Yellowtail Dam By a drop of Water, Horseshoe Bend Campground, loop B Amphitheater, Ranger Staebler, 9 pm

August 14       Bighorn Canyon Archeology, Horseshoe Bend Campground loop B amphitheater, Ranger Green, 9 pm

August 15       The Undiscovered Jewel, Horseshoe Bend Campground loop B Amphitheater,  Ranger Staebler, 9 pm

August 22       Bighorn Canyon A Slice Through Time, Horseshoe Bend Campground loop B Amphitheater, Ranger Staebler, 9 pm

August 29       Our National Parks, Horseshoe Bend Campground loop B Amphitheater, Ranger Staebler, 9 pm
