Crow Skills and Trade Fair
Western National Parks Association (WNPA) in cooperation with Bighorn Canyon NRA is hosting a Crow Skills and Trade Fair on July 9th and 10th at the Bighorn Canyon Visitor Center in Lovell Wyoming. Activities include traditional Crow games, performances, Crow crafts and exhibits.
Beginning at 11 AM and running until 6PM on Friday July 9th, the Bighorn Canyon Visitor Center lawn will be the center of activity for traditional Crow games and Traditional Craft displays. Visitors will be able to learn about the Crow culture by observing games and Crow craft styles. Several Teepees will also be scattered around the lawn as exhibits.
Events will continue into Saturday beginning at 9 AM. Exhibits and traditional Crow games will continue throughout the day. Drum and Dance performances and a Buffalo Feast will be add to the activities on Saturday. The Fair will conclude at 6PM on Saturday.
Several Crow crafters have been invited to share their work and skills. Crafts to be displayed include traditional bead work, silver-smithing, rawhide arts and Jewelry. Visitors will be able to purchase items directly from the crafters.
