Extreme water shortage throughout park. Visitors are limited to 5 gallons per day, and are encouraged to conserve further when possible. Please consider bringing your own water to the park.

Volunteers are sought for the positions of camphost, visitor center host, and maintenance. Volunteers should be committed to bringing their trailer or RV and staying at least three months. In exchange for a RV site, electricity, water, and reimbursed propane expenses, volunteers are required to work 32 hours a week.Most volunteer positions require training, references, and a background check. Training is provided unless otherwise noted.

Did You Know?
The so-called "water tower" on the northwest flank of Emory Peak is a rock remnant left standing when the weathered materials in the adjacent joints were eroded away. Similar rock columns formed by weathering and erosion along joints occur in the lava rim between Toll and Emory Peaks.
