The traveling trunk serves as a mini-museum helping bring history alive in the classroom. The trunk contains a variety of hands-on objects, books, videos, and a resource guide. The trunk is designed for primarily for 4th-6th grade classes, but can be used for
any aged group effectively.   

Lessons, activities, and objects relate to the cultures and lifestyles of the 1840’s Santa Fe Trail people. This trunk may be used as an exhibit, part of lesson plans, learning group activities, or in many other creative ways. The fee for use is $30.00 for shipping and handling. Call (719) 383-5026 first for reservations and then fill out the application and submit with payment.
