Enjoy a full selection of books to learn more about the park. We invite you to visit the Badlands Natural History Association (BNHA) bookstore in the Ben Reifel Visitor Center. Books are available to learn more about the park's natural and cultural history. Souvenirs can be purchased to serve as reminders of your enjoyable trip. If you are unable to visit the bookstore, or want to purchase an item before or after your visit, shop online at the BNHA website. |
Did You Know?
The yellow and red layers in the badlands formations are fossilized soils, called paleosols. Fossil root traces, burrows, and animal bones found within the soils provide scientists with evidence of environmental and climatic changes that occurred in the badlands over time.
