Mark the summer solstice as the ancient people did! Ancestral Pueblo people used their landscape and architecture to create calendars. Arrive in the Visitor Center parking lot absolutely no later than 5:30am to observe the alignment for the summer solstice. Following the sunrise, Ranger Marie Clark will present an archeoastronomy lecture entitled Ancient Timekeepers in the Great Kiva. The Visitor Center will open at 8:00am.
