Entrance Passes may be used in both the Maryland and Virginia districts. When visiting the Maryland district, Federal Duck Stamp holders without the beach parking fee upgrade from the Virginia district will need to purchase a $15 upgrade towards the Assateague annual pass.

 

Camping Reservations

  • Family campground reservations are required April 15 through October 15. Group campsites are available year round. Visit http://www.recreation.gov or call (877) 444-6777.
  • Family campsites are first-come first-served October 16 through April 14.
  • Backcountry campsites are available on a first-come first-served basis.
