The Arlington House bookstore is in the west end of the north slave quarters behind the house.

The Arlington House bookstore is in the west end of the north slave quarters.

The Arlington House bookstore is located on the west end of the north slave quarters. The bookstore is operated by Eastern National, a partner of the National Park Service that sells books and other educational materials and operates many other bookstores at national park sites throughout the country. Proceeds from sales support Arlington House and other National Parks. Another store is located in the Arlington National Cemetery visitor center.

Did You Know?
George Washington Parke Custis built Arlington House to be not only his home but a memorial to George Washington, his step-grandfather. The house was built between 1802 and 1818.
