Fees at Work
The year 2000 brought a change to the entrance fees
at Zion National Park. About 90% of your entrance fees now stay right here in the park.
Although fees have increased, the Fee Demonstration Program and other recent legislation
has enabled Zion to continue to enhance your visit and protect park resources. Entrance
fees are being used to establish and operate the new shuttle system. In addition, user
fees are making the following projects possible; sewer and road surface replacement, trail
repairs, campground rehabilitation, amphitheater repair, and natural resource inventory
projects.
