Parkwide Invasive Plant Management Plan

The Invasive Plant Management Plan will explore alternatives for a comprehensive program to manage invasive plants in the park. The plan will include options for prevention and control, monitoring, and research. Control methods may include a combination of the following: hand-pulling or use of various weed removal tools to remove plants; release of predatory insects or fungus to attack plants; and use of chemical treatments derived from natural products like vinegar, or use of manufactured chemicals.
