Yosemite Valley

Bus parking areas may change over the next few years in Yosemite Valley. Ask at any entrance station or visitor information station about bus parking.

Wawona

Park in the oversized parking lot across the highway from the Wawona Store.

Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias

At the entrance to the grove parking lot, follow signs to bus parking. Spaces are marked. Buses may not park in the larger parking lot. If all bus spaces are occupied, you will be directed to drop off your passengers and park at the lot across from the south entrance station. During the winter the Mariposa Grove road is closed. Buses can be parked in the lot across from the south entrance station and students can hike the two miles to the grove.

Glacier Point

Park in the designated bus parking area at the south side of the Glacier Point parking lot.

Glacier Point Road

If space is available park at the Taft Point/Sentinel Dome parking lot. Please park well off the road. Bus parking is also possible at the Summit Meadow picnic area.

Tuolumne Meadows

From late June through August, Tuolumne is extremely busy and bus parking is very limited, so plan your transportation needs accordingly. Passengers may be unloaded and loaded at Lembert Dome parking lot, and the buses may be parked at the Tuolumne Visitor Center if space is available.

For a short time after Tioga road opens in early June and in the fall buses can also be parked at the Wilderness parking area and at the Dog Lake Trailhead parking lot on the road to Tuolumne Lodge. These parking areas cannot be used in the summer.

Tioga Road

Bus parking is possible at Tenaya Lake parking lots or at Olmsted Point parking lot.
