Not Visiting the Park

To learn about Yosemite National Park, direct students to topics in “Yosemite at a Glance,” which covers:

  • Geology (overview)
  • Water and Waterfalls
  • Plants and Animals
  • The First People
  • Non-Indians
  • Park History

This section is strictly informative, presenting an overview of Yosemite National Park. There are no interactive questions or animations.

To teach more in-depth topics related to the park, direct students to “Yosemite in Depth,” where you will find more detailed, interactive lessons related to Yosemite. The first available course is Geology. More courses will be added in the future.
