 . Bring a bit of the Sierras to your classroom. Yosemite National Park, the U.S. Forest Service, and the Discovery Center are partnering to provide the best quality Environmental Education around. Whether you're studying the depths of the Central Valley, stars a million miles away, or anything in between, our Discovery Vans have something for you. You don't have to worry about buses or permission slips. All we require is a flat space with enough room to park one of our vans and set up our equipment.

The Discovery Center

Discovery Center VanThe Discovery Center is a private, non-profit organization that has partnered with Yosemite National Park to help students learn more about their environment. Discovery Van presentations last one hour and can be scheduled by themselves, in groups, or paired with any of the Discovery Center’s other excellent outreach programs.

Rate Schedule:

  • 1 hour-long class — $100.00
  • 2nd class — $90.00
  • Additional — $80.00
  • Deposit — $30.00
  • Mileage — $1.00 per mile one way, minus first 10 miles

There is a $30.00 deposit and classes last one hour with 10 minute breaks, if necessary.
