When I came to Yellowstone, after working in the Everglades, I was very surprised to see white pelicans and glossy ibis here. Erik told me that we do indeed have white pelicans here but what I thought were glossy ibis were actually white-faced ibis. White-faced ibis look very much like glossy ibis but their range is in the west while the glossy ibis' range is in the east.
