Mountain Goats on Sepulcher Mt.

Education specialist MacNeil Lyons reports: The mountain goats were on Sepulcher Mountain, outside of Mammoth Hot Springs. The photos were taken on Sunday, July 18th. Mountain goats are considered an exotic/non-native species to Yellowstone National Park. Following their introduction for sport hunting outside the park in the Absaroka/Beartooth Range, they have been making their way through the high peaks in the northern part of the park (Gallatin and Absaroka Mountain Ranges).
