Bob Landis - Coyotes & Bison

On January 15 Bob Landis noticed four coyotes approaching a herd of bison at Hubbard Hill just east of the Buffalo Ranch. He thinks there was a carcass in among the bison that was attracting the coyotes. After a short while, one of the big bulls ran after one of the coyotes to chase it off. “They do not like those dogs,” Bob said. Bison will chase wolves away as well as coyotes.
