Ice Skating Bison

3. February 23, 2004 - While the children from the Mammoth elementary school were ice skating on the rink in the schoolyard, a herd of bison walked up and stood nearby. The children stopped skating and, after they walked back up to the school, the bison moved out of the area. A couple of bison crossed the ice-skating rink in the process of leaving and found its slick surface difficult to navigate. Peggy Olliff (Exhibit Specialist) and Tom Cawley (Web Coordinator) shot the video footage.
