Camille's Affair - Photos from the Volunteer Usher Dinner

Thanks to the generosity and foresight of our friend and fellow volunteer, Camille Fernandez, Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts proudly introduced "Camille's Affair" on September 24, 2005. The "Affair" honored and celebrated the volunteer ushers, whose dedicated service truly makes Wolf Trap hum.

Pictures for this event are now available.

1. Send an email to the Volunteer Coordinator at Wolf Trap, Audrey_Young@nps.gov with the subject - "Camille Photos".

2. Within one to two days, you will receive an email with the subject "Frances Light Molinengo wants to share photos with you". NOTE: Your email address will be sent to the photographer. After you receive this email from Frances, your email will be deleted from her database, you will not receive junk mail.

3. Click on the invitation to enter the Photomax website.

4. Click on the picture to open the album. This will give you a whole page of small pictures (almost 500!).

5. There are several options from here... Below is a letter from the photographer, Frances Molinengo with a description of some of the options.

A NOTE FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER

Dear Wolf Trap Friends. I really enjoyed taking your pictures last weekend! I hope you enjoy seeing them. I think we’ve come up with a way for you to view the pictures at your convenience. Here’s what you do!

Send an email to the address on the website or follow the Wolf Trap website instructions to send in your email.

Once we have your email, within a day or so you will receive a “share” invitation from Photomax to view photos. Click on the invitation and that will put you into the website.

In the website, click on the picture to open up the album. This will give you a whole page of small pictures (almost 500!). You can either click on a photo to see it in larger form OR you can look to the right of the page and you will see a list of things you can do like VIEW SLIDESHOW. The slideshows are fun! I believe you have the option to also purchase pictures if you see something you like.

ANOTHER OPTION. . . Once you have viewed the photos, if you would like to have all of them to view or to share with other friends and family, you can set up your own free Photomax Account (Really! No charge to have a page for your pictures! ) Just like the account I have. If you use my email address (fmolinengo@cox.net) I believe you will receive 20 free pictures. The only thing you will ever receive from Photomax online will be updates which you can opt out of if you choose. Your email address is not given out or used for other purposes. Photomax makes their money from the prints and merchandise people order from their company. That’s why they allow people to use the space and upload pictures – it makes it easy to order prints and other fun things you will see if you explore the website. And the prints are good! I like the quality.

THE BENEFIT. . . of setting up your own account will be that you can transfer all of the photos from my site to yours and have them for as long as you like (I was told the account is left open up to a year – and longer if the site is active – they can see that you are using it). Once the pictures are transferred, you can share them with your family and friends online, or make prints, and more. It may be something that interests you. The pictures will be up on my website for about 60 days.

Have a great day! Enjoy! You are all awesome!
