Dreamers and Waitresses
An Exhibit of Woodcarvings

by Mary Michael Shelley

Mary Michael Shelley's painted woodcarvings of dreamers symbolize how women aspire to personal advancement.
Dreamers inspire others to believe in worth and achievement, life and humanity. The founding mothers of equality exhibited optimism about the fruition of their dreams and provided examples in perseverance and courage for all women to follow today.
