CULTURAL HERITAGE CENTER CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Construction of a new Cultural Heritage Center and Administrative Complex has begun to better serve park visitors. This exciting new facility is located on United States Forest Service lands approximately one mile from the Historic Site and trailhead. The facility will not only provide the park’s first visitor center, it will provide for shared administrative and maintenance facilities between National Park Service and United States Forest Service.
