Conveniently located in downtown Cruz bay, just a few blocks from the public ferry dock, the Visitor Center is your first encounter with the National Park Service.
Come in and take a peak! The visitor center has a great display that offers information on the underwater and ecological community, as well as information on the history and culture of the island. In addition, there is also a video display and touch screen that answers many of your questions and concerns about what you will encounter on your visit to Virgin Islands National Park.
Worried about the winding roads and high hills? The Visitor center has a topographical that offers a visual perspective on the terrain and lay of the island.
To get to the Visitor Center, follow the road to the Post Office; make another left and continue straight ahead until you arrive at a playground. The Visitor Center is located next to the playground. At the Visitor Center, there is always a friendly Park Ranger waiting to answer your questions, so don't hesitate to come by for a chat about the park!
