Vicksburg Artists - The Sculptors, A to Z

In the words of one Civil War veteran, "Vicksburg is the art park of the world!"

Vicksburg National Military Park is one of the most densely monumented battlefields in the world as it contains 1,324 monuments, markers, tablets and plaques, of which 95% were erected prior to 1917.  This extensive collection of outdoor art features stone and bronze work created by the most renowned American sculptors of the time period.
