62^nd Tennessee Infantry

Multiple monument located on the north side of Confederate Avenue approximately .2 miles east of Fort Hill (Park Tour Stop #9) Also three trench markers located on the north side of Confederate Avenue starting at the east end of Tennessee Circle and running east. This unit was attached to Brig. Gen. John C. Vaughn's 2nd Brigade, Maj. Gen. Martin Luther Smith's Division in Lt. Gen. John C. Pemberton's Army of Vicksburg and was commanded by Col. John A. Rowan.
