| This unit was attached to Lt. Col. P. F. DeGournay's 12th Louisiana Heavy
Artillery of Maj. Gen. Franklin Gardner's 3rd Military District at Port Hudson,
LA, Lt. Gen. John C. Pemberton's Department of Mississippi and East Louisiana and was
commanded by Capt. F. J. Weller (killed) Lt. Oswald Tilghman. [Refer to Official
