This unit was attached to Maj. Gen. Franklin Gardner's 3rd Military District at Port Hudson, LA, Lt. Gen. John C. Pemberton's Department of Mississippi and East Louisiana and was commanded by Lts. Wilkins (KIA) & Chase (KIA). [Refer to Edward Cunningham's The Port Hudson Campaign, 1862 - 1863, page 127.] No Marker or Monument
