1st Battery Minnesota Light Artillery

Bronze tablet on Minnesota State Memorial and a monument located on Union Avenue 250 yards south of the Wisconsin Memorial across from the McArthur Bust. This unit was attached to Maj. Thomas D. Maurice's Artillery Command of Brig. Gens John McArthur's & Thomas E.G. Ransom's 6th Division, Maj. Gen. James B. McPherson's XVII Army Corps and was commanded by Lt. Henry Hunter & Capt. William Z.
