8th Michigan Infantry

Multiple monument on Union Avenue opposite the Michigan Memorial. This unit was attached to Col. Daniel Leasure's 3rd Brigade of Brig. Gen. Thomas Welch's 1st Division, Maj. Gen. John G. Parke's IX Army Corps (Detachment)) on Maj. Gen'l William T. Sherman's exterior line and was commanded by Col. Frank Graves.
