| During the Yazoo Pass Expedition this unit was assigned as an unattached organization
to Maj. Gen. William W. Loring's Confederate Forces in Lt. Gen. John C. Pemberton's
Department of Mississippi and East Louisiana and was commanded by Lt. J. E. Lambert.
