This unit was attached to Maj. Gen. Carter L. Stevenson's Division, Lt. Gen. John C.
Pemberton's Army of Vicksburg and was commanded by Lt. C. H. Barrott. The Official
Records make no reference to the Signal Corps, aside from enumeration. [Refer to
