York is $52,792. Starting salary
for officers in San Francisco is $55,429.
Starting salary for officers in Washington, DC
is $50,787. These figures
increase
with
night differential, Sunday premium pay, and overtime.

Overtime
is compensated at a rate of time and one-half or compensatory time
off.

Annual
leave earned at a rate of 13 to 26 days per year, based on length
of Government service.

Sick
leave is earned at a rate of 13 days annually. There is no limit
to the amount of sick leave a Force member can accumulate.

Ten paid federal holidays.
