Notes: Padre Roche was one of fourteen Querétaro Franciscans to reach Sonora in 1768. He was at Suamca in June of 1768, in which position he was also responsible for Cocóspera. Suamca was destroyed by Apaches on November 19, 1768, and he was forced to move to Cocóspera. He was still there at least as late as July, 1772.
