Notes:  Born in 1717, Padre Lizasoain came to New Spain in August 1750. He reestablished the Guaymas Mission in 1751 but was forced out the next year. He then went to Bácum where he stayed until 1764. During that time he was made "Visitador General" for the Sonoran missions. In the capacity of visitador general he visited Suamca on November 9, 1761 and Guevavi on November 19, 1761. He later became the last Jesuit Provincial for New Spain and was stationed at San Gregorio de México, from where he was arrested during the general Jesuit expulsion and eventually sent into exile in Italy.
