Notes:  Padre Liberos was born 7 April 1789 at Villa de Mazeleón in Aragon, Spain.  He was described as having blue eyes and a light complexion with a sparse beard and black hair.  He was devout and energetic.  The friars in the city of Calatayud received him into the order five weeks past his fifteenth birthday.  He sailed from Spain on 16 July 1813 with the last and the least troubled of the missions.  He first came to Tumacácori on 6 April 1822 as secretary to Padre Francisco Nuñez, the college's Comisario Prefector on a visitation.  He returned to take charge in May, 1822, at the age of 33.  He got the money Pérez owed Padre Estelric and continued building the church.  In 1822 he blessed the large, walled cemetery.  He disinterred the remains of Fathers Carillo and Gutiérrez on 13 December 1822 and reburied them on the Gospel side of the steps leading up to the altar.  Though it was not finished, the Franciscans finally had a church.  He remained six years at Tumacácori and was expelled in 1827 by Mexican officials due to the law passed by the Mexican Federal Congress to expel all Spanish-born officials.  He had been a good steward and was the last resident friar.  He was sent back to Spain.
