Residence: San Ignacio

Race or Tribe:  Unknown, but probably Español

Notes:  Padre García was assigned to San Ignacio when the Franciscans from Querétaro arrived in the Pimería Alta.  He was there until the end of January, 1772.  In 1787 he went to Alta California.  He served at Nuestra Señora Dolorísima Soledad from its establishment in October, 1791, until he retired and returned to Mexico in August, 1797.
