Notes: Although the exact birth date of Padre Prado is unknown, it was sometime during 1759 in the village of Bentretea near Burgos, Spain. He was described as a tall, fair skinned man with brown hair and eyes and a long face. On 1 March 1782 he joined the Franciscan novitiate at La Cabrera near Madrid at twenty-three years of age. He volunteered for overseas missions in 1789. Padre Prado came to Tumacácori in May of 1797. He was also responsible for Tubac. He was ill suited for the missions and begged to leave. He left Tumacácori about January of 1798. He was elected Father Guardian of the College of Querétaro three times.
