La Fiesta de Tumacácori
Performers
The two-day event
will feature Indian, Mexican, and Southwest food and crafts. The Fiesta
will also provide continuous free entertainment featuring local dance and
music groups. In the past, the schedule included the follow groups:

Band from Nogales, Arizona.

Seri Ceremonial Music and Dance
from Sonora

Tarahumara Music and Dance from

Yamut Luturia, traditional Mayo
music from Sinaloa

Southern Arizona Old Time Fiddlers
from Tucson, Arizona.

Sunday will begin with a 10
a.m. traditional Mariachi Procession and Mass in front of the old Mission
Church.
There will also be puppet
shows, piñatas and hands on native crafts for children as well as
living history, paper flowers, Mexican
pottery, O’odham basket weaving, and horse
shoeing demonstrations.
