Notes:  Father Ximeno was born in 1761 in Hervas, Spain in the bishopric of Plasencia.  He was described as being of medium height, with a swarthy complexion and a mole over his left eyebrow.  He entered the Franciscan order in 1761 at the Recollect Convent of Santa Maria de Gracia.  He arrived in the new world with the Mission of 1769.  After a few months at the College of Querétaro he left for Sonora.  He rode into Tumacácori in the spring of 1771.  After September 1771 he went to San Ignacio where he stayed for eight years.  During this time, he supervised the major reconstruction of the San Ignacio church.  In 1780 he return to the College of Querétaro in poor health.  He returned to Spain in 1782.
