Toxostoma curvirostre

Curve-billed Thrashers get their name from their prominently down-curved bill. These birds are fairly common at Tonto National Monument, where they are often seen scratching through debris to find food. Like the Cactus Wren, they build nests in various species of cholla and other dense, thorny vegetation.
