Broad-Tailed Hummingbird

Habitat

Found in pine and pine-oak woodlands and on the edges of these areas in the Rocky Mountains and surrounding ranges.

Feeding

Eats nectar, sap, and small insects that it takes from spider webs. Frequent visitor to bird feeders. Males aggressively dominate feeding areas.
