Museum Collections
The monument
maintains a small archive of unique items depicting the monument’s
history. These items are cataloged and
maintained to strict museum standards.
The collection includes photos, oral history recording, building
designs, original maps, wildlife specimens, mineral formations, and historic
artifacts. Visits can be arranged for
research purposes only by contacting the monument’s historian, Cami Pulham.

Administrative
History
This project
details the significant events that shaped the monument. The document will cover subject such as the
creation of the monument and the landmark events in the divisions of
Administration, Maintenance, Interpretation, Law Enforcement and Emergency
Response, and Science and Resource Management.
A draft of the Administrative History has been completed and is presently
being closely reviewed. The resulting
product should be available by end of 2007.
