Post-visit Jeopardy Game | ||||||||||||||||||||
Jeopardy Game- Post Program Activity LogisticsMaterials Needed: List of Jeopardy Questions/ Answers for Jeopardy Questions (easier), List of Double Jeopardy Questions/ Answers for Double Jeopardy Questions (harder) The logistics are as follows. The group will be split into teams of no
more than 8-10 people on each team. Any larger and it becomes too unmanageable.
A question will be asked of the first team. This question will be taken
from the set of easier questions which have been prepared. The team will
RAISE THEIR HANDS and will not shout out an answer. If the team is correct
they will receive one point. If the answer is incorrect than the next
team will be able to guess what the answer is. If the team answers correctly
on the first question they will be able to try and answer a second question.
This second question will be harder than the first. If the group answers
this correctly, they will receive a second point. If they do not answer
correctly, they will lose the point from the first right answer and the
question will then go to the next group. Each team will follow this same
pattern, easier question first, if correct can stay with one point or
risk going for a second tougher question which if answered correctly will
give them two points or if incorrect will cost them the first point. All
of the answers to the questions will be found in the pre-visit activities,
the park brochure, exhibit signs in the house, video in Visitor Center,
and from park staff themselves. The game will last approximately 30-45
depending on time limitations for the group. The winning group will be
the one who gets the most points and will win an unspecified award. |
