Programs for Adults/Families

Guided House Tours: Year-round. Audio-visual program, four restored rooms, permanent exhibit gallery, changing exhibits.

Lecture: Historical topics pertinent to Buffalo, Theodore Roosevelt or the Victorian period. Included with admission to the Site. See Special Events or call (716) 884-0095 for details on upcoming programs.

Allentown Art Festival: The Allentown Art Festival is a two day free festival held every year on the second weekend in June in the streets of the Allentown Historic Preservation District. It draws about 450 exhibitors from over 35 states and Canada. It is one of the country's largest and most respected outdoor art and crafts shows. The TR site features refreshments, reduced admission, and special exhibits during this weekend. Admission fee: $1.00 per person.

Teddy Bear Picnic: The annual Teddy Bear Picnic is a favorite for families.

September 14th Anniversary Commemoration: The community is invited to participate in the reenactment of the inauguration of Theodore Roosevelt. No fee.

Young Historians Essay Contest: For students in grades seven through twelve. Contest is held each spring. Call (716) 884-0095 for details.
