Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural
National Historic Site
Field Trip Fund
The Field Trip Fund is a cooperative effort of Tops Friendly Markets, the Buffalo Alliance for Education and several Western New York cultural institutions to assist area schools in meeting the needs of students in the current era of financial cutbacks. The fund is designed to provide low cost transportation for schools to participating cultural institutions. In this way, it is hoped that the fund will increase student access to Western New York's cultural resources by supplementing dwindling transportation dollars.
The Field Trip Fund will provide schools with transportation to participating cultural institutions for a special price of $40.00 per bus, a cost well under the normal rate. It is hoped that this will make the cost of a field trip affordable for those classes that must raise funds themselves.
Please note that before you apply for transportation, you must first make reservations with the relevant cultural institution. Your Field Trip Fund application only covers transportation and does not automatically register you for a tour or program at the cultural institution. To make tour reservations at the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site, please call (716) 884-0095.
