Inventories and Monitoring

photo:

Effective resource stewardship requires reliable information. National Park Service employees, contractors, and researchers have completed or are working on inventories of the plants and animals found in Stones River National Battlefield. We also monitor water quality and the effectiveness of NPS efforts to eliminate exotic plants from the park while encouraging the growth of native species.
