A Listing of Jackson Paintings at Scotts Bluff N.M.

A few of these paintings date from William Henry Jackson's service during the Civil War. However, most were created by Jackson in the 1930s when he was already more than 90 years old. The monument's museum collections also contain many Jackson drawings, photographs and other Jackson-related material.

Transparencies (4 X 5) are available for loan for those paintings marked with an asterisk. A slide set containing 60 of the Jackson paintings is available as a sales item through the Oregon Trail Museum Association (308-436-2975). Some examples of Jackson's work (97K JPEG) can be seen on-screen.
